“It’s my hope that what you hold in your hands not only becomes a well-loved, food-spattered cookbook, but also serves as a guide for you to seek out some of our city’s finest treasures,”
I wrote in Phoenix Cooks. As an ardent supporter of our local community of gifted chefs, I was thrilled to be able to spotlight and celebrate them in my book. Of course, no cookbook representing our city’s culinary gems would be complete without the talents of Adam Allison, owner of @handlebar_diner and @brightsideburgers.
On Saturday, October 16, Join The Simple Farm as they welcome Food Network Chopped Champion Adam Allison for a special multi-course, fine-dining experience under the stars. Chef Adam will be gifting each guest seated at The Chef’s Table with a signed copy of Phoenix Cooks along with some special surprises.
I’m so grateful and honored that he has shared his recipes with us. I’ve had the delicious pleasure of dining on his fantastic tempura fried fish with wasabi tartar, and his juicy fried chicken with
Alabama white BBQ sauce is one of my favorites that I’ve made many times. I hope you enjoy his dishes as much as I do, and if you make his recipes and are on Instagram, I’d love to see your photos; tag me at @writeonrubee or @phoenixcooks.
Happy cooking! - Christina Barrueta
